Anti-fog film warms the back of an existing mirror. It helps reduce condensation on the heated area during use. Choose the film by its shape, the free rear surface and the area you want to keep clear. For room heating, choose a complete infrared mirror panel.
Which film fits behind your mirror?
- Measure the flat rear surface available and check the mirror fixings.
- Choose a round or rectangular shape that fits the free space.
- Compare the heated area: a small film does not automatically heat the whole mirror.
- Have the power supply, switching and compatibility of the mirror and film checked.
The 27.5 × 27.5 cm Ecaros film is one compact example. For a round option, explore the Termofol AF-11 with a 450 mm diameter. Choose for your mirror and the area to be heated, not just the mirror’s outer dimensions.
Anti-fog film is not bathroom space heating
The film acts on the mirror surface. It does not replace a room heating system or remove moisture. Maintain suitable bathroom ventilation. A clear mirror does not mean the whole bathroom is dry.
Prepare installation and use
Follow the manual for the permitted surface, clear space and mounting. Cut or modify the film only if the manufacturer explicitly allows it for that product. Have the connection and switching checked for the chosen position. Switch on in time as instructed; warm-up and mist reduction depend on the conditions.
